I am a Southeast Texas-based photographer who is ready to travel wherever your love story is. I'm originally from Michigan, but now Texas is home. I'm a Christian who is mega in love with Jesus, & all that I have & who I am is because of him. When I am not doing something creative, you'll find me watching my favorite shows, listening to music, going on walks, reading fantasy books, or having intentional time with my best friends.
The name Set Apart Photography came from Deuteronomy 14:2, which says, "You have been set apart as holy to the Lord your God, & he has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be his own special treasure." Years before I even picked up a camera, the Lord told me that "Set Apart" would be the name of a future business & I held onto that for years until I felt led to start a photography business. My motivation behind doing photography is to give God the glory for the gift he has given me & second, to help my clients see themselves the way God sees them. I have the immense honor of capturing a moment in time forever, & showing my clients the beauty within them & in this life.
- I'm going to be your biggest hype-woman. There is no controlling the amount of compliments that come out of my mouth while shooting, I just can't help it.
- I want to capture authentic emotions and sweet stories. I will guide you through the whole session, I am not one for stiff posing.
- You will absolutely be getting sneak peeks (again, can't help myself).
- Your wedding day is not a photo shoot, I am there to capture genuine moments and to hopefully add a lot of joy & laughs.
- I want to make things seamless for you, so I am always down to help pick the location and coordinate the outfits.
- Above everything else, I want you to feel loved and to adore the images you receive because they are a genuine reflection of your story.
